Yard Force 1500W Electric Scarifier - Assembly and Operation

What's Included

Depending on the model, the package may include:

• Scarifier and aerator
• Collection box
• 2 x Lower handles and 2 x Self tapping screws
• 2 x middle handles
• Upper handle
• Raker cartridge
• Tine cartridge
• Bearing shell with bolts
• 4 x Screws & 4 x Nuts
• 2 x cord clips
• Allen Key
• Cord Strain Relief

Step 1: Assembly

1. Insert lower handle sections onto the mounting points on the scarifier body.
2. Secure with self-tapping screws.
3. Attach the middle handles – use the screws and nuts provided

Step 2: Attach the Upper Handle

1. Align the upper handle with the middle handle sections.
2. Insert the fixing bolts through the aligned holes.
3. Add the cord strain relief
4. Fasten with the provided screw and nuts

Step 3: Secure the Power Cable

1. Loop Power Cable and thread through bottom hole and loop onto hook.
2. Add cable clips supplied with the machine.
3. Route the power cable along the handle.
4. Secure the cable using the clips.

Step 5: Exchanging the cartridge

1. Remove the bearing shell bolts with the Allen key.
2. Lift bearing side first to remove cartridge.
3. Remove the bearing holder from Scarifying roller.
4. Refit bearing holder onto the raking cartridge.
5. Slot the square drive bushing onto the drive axel.
6. Secure the bearing shell bots with the Allen key.

Step 6: Operation

1. Press the safety lock button
2. Pull the switch lever

Step 6: Adjust the Working Depth

The scarifier allows you to select different working depths depending on lawn conditions.

1. Use the lever on left hand side of scarifier.
2. Lift the handle up, then slot into position.
